Party Cake – Buttercream Layer Cake

Whatever you’re celebrating, this elegant and fun buttercream cake is just the ticket! Choose your flavour, choose your exciting colour combo, add extras and we’ll work our magic for you.

Want to personalise your cake? Choose to add a message topper and let us know what you’d like to say. “Happy Birthday”, a name, an age, “Congratulations”, “Bride-to-be”…any short phrase will work perfectly. Simply reply to your order confirmation email and we’ll do the rest.

Size it up. Each Buttercream Party Cake is available in three sizes. Our cakes get taller rather than wider so choose your number of layers to match the number of servings. Our serving numbers are calculated in two ways, as shown in brackets by each size option:

• classic wedge slices (the first number) for dessert servings and smaller gatherings where you want each guest to have a good chunky piece of cake
• finger portions (the second number) for weddings, larger events and goodie bags, where each guest has a good few bites and the so cake goes much further

Each cake comprises layers of sponge with buttercream in between, plus jam if your chosen flavour requires it. Each cake is then covered in a smooth layer of buttercream and trimmed top and bottom with contrasting buttercream piping. Design your perfect cake, have fun!

PLEASE NOTE: We would ideally need 7 days’ notice to plan in and make the party cakes for you so please order in plenty of time. You can order any time in advance! Your cake can be collected from the shop (Tuesday to Saturday 10-5) or can be delivered locally (Tuesday to Saturday evenings). At checkout, please let us know the date and time of the party in the Notes section so that we can plan everything in.
